BBQ Ready Outdoor Tour And Blog Hop!

I smell bbq! It’s that time of year and folks I am EXCITED! It’s time to get my Bear Mountain BBQ supplies out and have a BBQ party with my family. I can’t wait!! Summer is definitely the best season of all. My friend recently bought a bull outdoor grill and it looks great in her garden. It made me really want to make my garden look great. I have a really fun post today, not only because I am sharing our outdoor patio space but because it’s a blog hop! That means at the end of this post you can click on the other links and pop on over to some of my fab blogger friends spaces and see what they are cookin up. (See what I just did there?! hehe)
So without further ado here is our back patio come on in!

We spend a lot of time hanging out here and since there are 6 of us it’s so nice to have a ton of seating.

I’ve gotten some questions recently asking about this Ikea Applaro sofa, (see the post on how we refinished it here) and I am happy to report it looks as good as when we first painted it! No issues at all with the paint adhering or flaking off. Just make sure you thoroughly follow the steps we did and you shouldn’t have any problems!

This is our fire table but we don’t use it for that anymore, let’s just say an incident involving a fireball and some freak yelling of “stop drop and roll”. Who knew those classes in elementary school would come in handy?! (no one was harmed..the hubs just lost some leg hair lol)

I found this awesome vintage plant stand at a travelling flea recently and my daughter picked out this oh so pretty basket for it. It gives us a pretty pop right behind the sofa.

I love a good outdoor rug in your outdoor areas. It not only visually grounds your space but it really makes it feel like a living room instead of a patio. This one I stumbled on at Home Goods!

Heading on over to the dining area…..

These chairs are “new to me” and another flea find. I LOVE the design of the backs! They are heavy duty too so I have no concerns about longevity with these beauties. The table is an oldie that I am debating on painting the top all white. We’ll see if I ever get around to it haha.

HAVE to have one of my FAVORITE candles out here. This one is the Bennett Dune in Coastal Breeze Citronella from Flashpoint Candle and it smells sooo good and keeps the bugs away AND looks pretty! I mean what more do ya need?! (Direct link to shop for this lovely candle in the sidebar!) I already ordered another citronella for the other side of the patio….yep I really did!

Here is our rocker area. The hubs and I sit here a lot sipping coffee or adult beverages and watching the kids play. Although my poor rockers are so old they are starting to fall apart…but that’s what wood glue and nails are for amiright?!

Looking into the rocker area from the yard I have this really pretty wisteria that is growing in the shape of a heart around the arch. Collective awww!

It is loaded with flower buds so in a week or so it will be overflowing with big cascading purple flowers! (watch my Instagram, I will share shots on stories and my feed!)

Our fuschia loungers, also painted at the same time as the ikea sofa! Awesome spot to lay down for a nap or a tan. Although we are looking for something bigger as I usually have at least 2 littles that want to sit with me here. Mama’s booty is a little big to fit with more booties on these narrow loungers, just gonna own it. I like big butts and I cannot lie…Sir Mix A Lot’s the Man!

This is from the far side looking all the way down and peeking through my lilac tree!

We spend a ton of time outside in the summer so it needs to be comfy, inviting and of course pretty. Psshhaww!

And I am not a total plant murderer! See all of my beautiful potted plants and baskets out here! I can keep things alive and thriving outside, it’s just when I bring them in that I somehow sentence them to death. It’s mind boggling really. (see my serial plant murderer confession here)
And that’s our outdoor space! The full tour of how it looks now and where we enjoy spending most of our time when we aren’t swimming or fishing at the lake. (Already caught quite a few trout this year and have some stocked in the freezer!)
What do you think? You all should come on over for a party! Where is your fave outdoor space? And what’s your fave thing to do outside? I always love to hear from ya so hit me up in the comments below!!
And don’t forget to subscribe (in the sidebar) if ya wanna see more of what I’m up too! It’s ALWAYS changing around here my peeps!
And NOW for my amazing blogger friends outdoor spaces…..let’s continue this tour of inspiring outdoor decor!!

May 24, 2018I have an entire patio dedicated to plant rehabilitation. Some are in a coma, but I’m convinced they will come through. A few others are starting to show new growth. Then there’s the ones that didn’t make it and are awaiting their burials. 😉
Love your backyard! It’s so full of color and happiness.

May 24, 2018Haha Emy I love it! I tried repotting a couple of small citrus trees and they died shortly thereafter. It’s quite terrible! Thank you so much lovely lady!
