A Colorfully Eclectic Fall Home Tour

fall home tour, fall decor, red, orange, pink, adding warmth to your decor, getting ready for the holidays, seasonal, interior, design

I’ve got a really fun fall home tour lined up for you!  I’m teaming up with several bloggers to share some fall home decor ideas, so make sure to check out the other awesome bloggers for their home tours listed below.

My fall decor consists of incorporating warm colors and a cozy feel to the spaces we spend the most time in!  This includes reds, oranges, deeper pinks and an inviting and warm vibe.

Up first is our family room which we totally live in the most.

I swapped out a rug in here for more color and brought up our vintage sectional minus the center piece. It creates a feeling of inviting you to come and have a seat.

I love to mix color and patterns!

Here is another view showing the other angle of this space.  My favorite thing is a happy and fun area for us to spend our time together as a family.

Don’t be afraid to have fun with it!

A view looking into the kitchen via the family room.  (see the kitchen makeover here)  This whole area is open and gives a great flow.  So when I’m cooking I can still be part of what the fam is up to.

Color and pattern overlap in both the kitchen and family room.

I swapped out rugs in the entry space to bring in the warmth of fall colors.  While the pink in the rug border picks up on Francis the Flamingo’s pink!

The rug creates an inviting and warm feel.

Francis the flamingo is still hangin out in here with his fun and goofy vibe.  You can definitely blend both fun and warm in a space!

An ottoman allows for seating and ease to put on shoes or drop your things.

The welcoming feel spills over to my office just off the entry.  The sofa allows for a large seating area while the mural invites imagination.

A sunlit view into my office via the entry.

I this thing with animals and there are several here welcoming you in!

It’s the details that make all the difference.

I keep the party feel going into the bar area.  Color, pattern and a sense of fun!

I stapled a kantha quilt on the front of the bar with our kitchen stools that I revamped for a glamorous feel.  (You can see how I did the stool makeover here!)

The corner leading into our kitchen from the family room had a small makeover too and somebody is absolutely loving it…

My old boy Charlie has claimed this chair as all his own.

And looking in from the kitchen, this is how we spend most of our evenings.  With the warm fire blazing, snuggled up watching a movie or playing a board game splayed out on the sofa and ottomans.

Don’t be afraid to bring in those warm and inviting feels with color or pattern.  Creating a sense of warmth and a cozy comfort is what it’s all about.

How do you bring in those vibes when it comes to fall?  I always love to hear from ya so hit me up in the comments!

I love your home!!! This look/style is exactly what I’m trying for in my remodel. I have been working on the interior of my home for a while now, and your home is amazing, gives me a lot of wonderful ideas and inspiration. A lot of times you see nice homes, but wonder “Where is all of their stuff?” No normal family can have a home like that, they don’t seem to actually have kids or any belongings. Your home is beautiful, and actually looks like a place where a family lives and has things that normal families have. Stuff! That was meant to be a compliment. Do you get what I’m trying to say? Anyway, I love your home, ideas, and everything I see you do. Keep it up. You are awesome!
