My Latest Thrifted Finds + Best Places to Look for Pieces!

It’s been a hot sec since I shared some thrifted goodies with you so I thought it would be fun to do a quick little write up and bring you up to speed on my bargain hunting as of late.

I had a bit of a dryspell for quite awhile, pretty much November through January there really wasn’t much to be found in the thrifted world around here.  Alas lots of Christmas decor and toys, etc but not a whole lot in the house and furniture dept.

I still went once a week though to take a peek through the aisles because you never know.  And now here are the few goodies I have found in the last month-ish!

This table right here. (all the heart eyes) A vintage solid travertine coffee table that I found at the thrift store right around when the dryspell hit.  It was in pieces stacked on another table but I knew it would be pretty damn cool assembled, plus for $35 how can you go wrong?

This table is HEAVY, each leg weighs at least 50 pounds as they are solid pieces of stone!

Another coffee table, because I legit have a problem and sometimes it’s nice to have options amiright?!  Another thrift store find in pristine condition yess please!

LOVE the sculptural look of this table, plus vintage!

These cuties!  If you’ve been around the block with me a time or two you know I have a serious thing for animals.  I have elephants, birds (holla giant 7ft flamingo), zebra paintings, crane paintings and bears oh my! haha  So these 2 adorable dudes in brass (LOVE) had to come with me.

These guys are from a local flea market!

This piece is so wonky but funky cool.  It’s an antique asian cabinet and the front?  It’s all hand carved detailing, which literally covers the entire cabinet including the sides.  Found this for a steal at another flea market recently and bout fell over when I saw it!

Those yellow pieces are inlaid glass portraits!

And the piece that kind of fell into my lap totally by fluke……a Kagan cloud sofa!  And pink no less!  This bad boy I spotted on FB marketplace and sent my hubs and son to pick up over an hour away.  A crazy unicorn find in brand new condition with manufacturer’s tag.   I bet you’re wondering if I draped myself across it like Cleopatra and demanded my family feed me grapes……yes, yes I did.

My hubs intially said no when I showed him this, one “excuse me” later and here she is!  haha And he actually really likes it too so of course who was right as per usual. (that’d be me! ; ))

That about does it for finds as of late!  You can check out some of my other finds here and here.  And if you are looking for some tips on getting through the flea markets I shared some of those here.

What do you think which one is your fave piece?  Do you have a specific item you just buy alot of?!  (aka me with coffee tables)  I always love to hear from ya so hit me up in the comments!

I think you are a very STRONG WOMAN to transport a 50-pound-per-leg table between source and home!
